Course Content

History & Principles: Origins, philosophy, and cultural roots of traditional Thai massage.
Anatomy & Physiology: Key body systems and how massage supports balance and movement.
Techniques: Palm and thumb pressing, stretching, and energy line (Sen) work for relaxation and wellbeing.
Sen Lines: Understanding energy channels and their role in maintaining physical and emotional harmony.
Client Consultation: Effective communication and assessment of client needs and health conditions.
Contraindications: Recognising when to adapt or avoid treatment to ensure safety.
Massage Sequences: Learning and adapting full-body Thai massage routines for different client goals.
Adaptations: Tailoring techniques and pressure for comfort, mobility, and specific client needs.
Health & Hygiene: Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment.
Aftercare: Offering post-massage guidance, stretches, and wellbeing advice.
Professionalism: Building empathy, respect, and clear communication with clients.

Entry Requirements

– No previous experience required
– Good standard of English sufficient to complete the course competences and online examinations.
– Students must be over 16 years old to enrol on this course

Duration:  The course runs for 3 weeks, with one class per week, and each class lasts 4 hours. + 1 Assessment day
